Shannon is a Senior Manager at AP Group Inc, a local CPA firm, which specializes in construction and real estate. AP Group Inc was recently formed to assist construction and real estate companies with their financial statements, tax returns and business planning needs.
After completing her undergraduate degree from California State University-Chico in 2005, Shannon went to work for a local construction and real estate accounting firm and never looked back. Her specialties include tax and financial statement planning and compliance, which include making the best business decisions to ensure her clients are in the appropriate tax and financial position. She has always been passionate about building relationships and training others in accounting.
Shannon is currently vice president for the Greater Sacramento Area Chapter of CFMA. She has been a member of CFMA since 2010 and has served on the board for seven years. Her commitment to CFMA and the local Sacramento Chapter has helped her to establish some solid relationships, resources, and friendships in the Construction Financial Management arena.
