The good, bad, and ugly sides of AI and GAI. We'll start by defining AI and GAI since they are very different and then review how the technology can help with many financial aspects in construction, what we see in vendor trends and utilizing AI models being created in-house. We will review the issues (bad) around hallucinations, false results, privacy leaks, and other potential liabilities. The ugly side will explore threat actors using AI/GAI to pull off social engineering attacks, and causing significant financial losses with examples and tips on how to prevent and detect potential attacks.
