I started my career in operations and carried such roles as Superintendent, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and so on. In the last 10 years, I have switched from an operational role to a finance role. One of the strengths I have in my current role as VP of Finance is the relationships I have built with project teams over the years, both as an operational performer and as someone that can assist with various aspects of project finance and accounting. I have been part of a team that has dramatically improved the trust between Operations and Corporate Accounting. I believe our group is seen as trusted partners in the eyes of operations, and I would like to outline what we did to get there.
