Mary Grandy

Mary focuses on the design and implementation of insurance and risk solutions for all aspects of her commercial, property and casualty and workers’ compensation insurance clients. Her depth of expertise in litigated construction claims, brings a unique approach in representing the construction industry. Mary began her career in the insurance industry in 1995, while working as a claims adjuster for two major insurance companies. She brought her expertise to Jenkins Insurance Group (JIG), where as a Property Casualty Claims Advocate she has worked diligently with challenging claims to ensure that the clients’ interests were thoroughly represented. Ultimately, her depth of knowledge, experience, and track record of saving clients significant financial and emotional costs earned her a seat on several carrier claims councils, including Chair of the original Northern California AIG Claims Council. In 2010, Mary expanded her client focus to include insurance program design and risk analysis in a sales capacity. She now uses her claims and coverage experience to assist clients in the right placement of their insurance program. Mary earned an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies from Hartnell Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from California State University, Fresno. Mary is a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Broker. She holds designations for Legal Principles Claim Specialist, Casualty Claims Law Association and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist.
