Terrie Dillon

As Accounting Director, Terrie makes sure the financial processes and status of the company continue to fuel operational needs. Working closely with the CFO, and bringing her background in public accounting, construction and real estate/land development, Terrie does more than just handle the debits and credits. She ensures that the accounting team is structured to best meet the needs of our project teams, taking care of our vendors and subcontractor partners, and ensuring our clients have everything they need for timely payment by project owners.

In the short time she’s been at Royal, Terrie’s contributions have included new processes and procedures, establishing and streamlining accounting, payroll and HR functions for the company, and creating a new department vision in line with the company’s core values. She’s encouraged and inspired the Royal team to embrace industry-revolutionizing technology that has resulted in increased efficiencies, effectiveness, accuracy, cost savings, profitability and enhanced controls.

Terrie is a past Vice-President (2016-2018) and past President (2018-2020) for CFMA Sacramento, and currently serves as the organization’s Treasurer.

When not helping Royal build great projects more efficiently, Terrie enjoys reading fiction, developing her leadership skills, traveling with her family, and riding her e-bike around Folsom. Her young daughter keeps her busy with soccer, basketball, and her love for the arts. She also has two rescue dogs—Duke and Lucy—who she found under a job trailer.
